I am currently hospitalized for cardiac issues and will be unable to fill orders for an indeterminate time.

I am experiencing spontaneous tachycardia. Diagnosed as Wollfe-Parkinson-White (WPW) with Supra Ventricular Tachycardia (SVT).
I have a healthy non-diseased heart.
WPW-SVT is a birth defect which in my case first presented late in life.
It is an electrical signalling problem.

Echocardiograms show a normal heart.

Note that this post is edited to reflect that I am now home and recovering. 9/3/24.

Turns out to have been congenital presented late in life. WPW with SVT. Am treating it with meds. Passed stress test yesterday. All CT MRI and other studies unremarkable except low B12. PT will be evaluating me today for discharge. So I was born with this.

Also will be diagnosed using an emg test for myasthenia Gravis which onset suddenly last Monday.

Myasthenia Gravis causes are unknown to medicine.
It is an auto-immune disorder.
The auto-immune response causes a rise in antibodies which attack neuro-muscular signalling.
Untreated it will eventually attack the lungs and require a ventilator.
In my case it attacked the arms.

I suggested that we also consider a differential dynamic metabolic myopothy because I check those boxes with strength then fatigue dynamically.

All other diagnostics and radiological studies so far are normal. And there have been a lot...
They're stumped admit they're stumped and call me the mystery man.

I had not presented clinical signs of WPW while in patient until the first premature attempted pt session which triggered classic wpw on the heart monitor. Suddenly an automated page goes out for code red rapid response team.

Within a couple of minutes there are 20 people in my room. Heart rate was 220. What blew their mind was i was presenting no outward signs wasn't dizzy under any stress was cogent and telling jokes. No chest pain but felt the fast heart rate of svt. I suggested we take a group photo and that cracked them up. They administered an injectable and I'm watching the monitor and then announced to the group that a normal sinus rhythm had returned. They looked at me and one nurse says "you sure know your body." She dropped by a couple of days later. These people were more worried about me than I was. The mystery man proved he wasn't faking the tachycardia claims.

My last in patient hospitalization was a tonsillectomy at age 8 so I'm not a hospital kind of guy.

The remedy can be pharmalogical or ablation. I'm going for now the big pharma route. What irony.

The chemical stress test was a wild ride. I'm full of Chinese rare earths and emitting gamma radiation.

Next stop is a pre discharge pt eval which due to long weekend won't be until Tuesday.. The night nurses however have decided to take me on as a project and I've told everyone I want to get to work on pt. I haven't walked since last Monday and have requested bed to bed transfers until I get pt.

I keep telling them that every time this happens that after I recover I have a feeling a peace and bliss. A few times at home I lay in the bed giggling afterwards. And each time I'm forever changed as a person. Its a spiritual thing.

Good luck. The classic response from the medical community a "differential diagnosis", is to suggest a handful of possible causes, then tell you to come back in 6 months for more tests (if still alive).
