Those Lauten are end address and get treated like stage mics, meaning people eat the mic, so even with a foam filter on it they are living in a sea of humidity. The capsule design appears not matched to the usage. The Neumann HH live vocal mics on the other hand seem to do just fine.

We’ve had 2 Lauten LS-208’s used on a live music broadcast show go down like this. Both looked totally clean, but would die off in volume after awhile in front of a singer. Never permanently cured, or reliable enough to use again.

Probably wait till monday. Right now it’s a combo of tools, manually, in a specific order.

I’ve already been on a job where last year’s VOG announcer was recycled through AI for this year’s announcements. Didn’t pay a guy, and he didn’t know he was robbed.

TelCo friend says this is pretty common, especially where there's HOA's surrounding.

Sounds like a good structure.
